Receiving rave reviews from fellow authors and magazines alike, Sonya’s debut novel, The Matchmaker’s List, follows Raina Anand, a devoted modern girl, who agrees to let her traditional grandmother play matchmaker, giving us a laugh-out-loud story about finding love where you least expect it .

Set against the multicultural backdrop of Toronto,  it only made sense to pay Sonya a visit at her Toronto home to chat about her novel, her writing process, and of course, her book collection. Working in publishing herself, Sonya’s book collection is teeming with everything from beloved classics, to advance copies of yet-to-be-released titles… basically, a book lover’s dream.
